Red is the Color of Passion

The painting “Red is the color of passion” is inspired by a story I wrote back in 2014. The story tells the tale of a young woman who falls in love with a hacker. Initially, she doesn’t see his face but gets to know his character. In the story, a lot of masks are taken off, gradually, but inevitably. Behind a cold and aggressive look there’s a warm sensitivity hidden.

Emotions, love, anger, everything that makes us people is passion. Towards life, towards others and ourselves. We have to always seek the truth, because we as people wear a lot of masks. Let’s, if we can, take our masks off for others. And even if we can’t, let’s let someone take them off for us.

Of course, the full meaning of this painting I leave open ended and I hope everyone who looks at it and likes it, to find their own meaning for it.
